A BERRY BERRY BERRY VALENTINE'S DAY SHAKE by Chef Nelda
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and with it come all things sweet, sugary, and covered in chocolate. But this special holiday isn’t an excuse to veer from the weight loss goals you’ve set for yourself. So this February 14th, cuddle up with your loved one over a delicious and healthy Berry Valentine’s Day Shake from ARIIX’s very own Chef Nelda.
Berry Valentine’s Day Shake
1/2 c. coconut or almond milk
2 scoops PureNourish Natural
1/2 c. crushed ice
1 tbsp ground coconut (to rim the glass)
6 frozen cranberries — chopped (for topping)
1 lemon wedge
In a blender, blend your liquid of choice with the PureNourish Natural powder, then add berries and ice. If not using ice, increase your liquid by 1 cup.When thoroughly smooth and combined, top with frozen chopped cranberries in a coconut rimmed glass. To rim the glass, run a cut lemon around the edge of the glass and dip the glass in the ground coconut. The combination of the sweet shake with the frozen tart cranberries is a burst of flavor.
